Background and Education

Daniel graduated from the University of London with an LLB (Hons) Degree in 2004 and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2009. Soon after, he commenced practice at Messrs Cheah Teh & Su and subsequently Messrs Michael Chow.
His main area of practice is dispute resolution and litigation, especially on civil, corporate and commercial matters. He was also an in-house legal manager and counsel for a public listed oil and gas and industrial services company for about 2 years from 2017 until 2019, for which he had acted as an ad-hoc consultant after the said company.
He returned to legal practice due to his unnerving passion to serve and represent his clients in the legal arena and became a partner of the firm in December 2019.

02

Philosophy and Approach

Daniel’s approach to his practice is that every fight, big or small, is a good fight and will look at every avenue to ensure that his clients get the best representation. He is committed to the resolve of all disputes even if the odds are stacked against the situation. In that regard, Daniel believes in the saying “that it ain’t over until the fat lady sings” in his practice and will continue the good fight until it truly ends.
